Maternity Dresses Calgary
So, you’re pregnant, living in Calgary, and considering hiring a maternity photographer and you have realized you may need to buy some maternity dresses for your studio and outdoor photoshoot.
Don’t worry, you won’t need to decide what maternity photoshoot dresses you need, because I will provide a large selection of dresses for you to choose from.
Just take a look at my client wardrobe or instagram account and decide if the dresses I have are to your taste.
What Maternity Dress Sizes do I have?
All my clients come in different sizes, and so do my maternity dresses. My selection of gowns ranges from medium sized to extra large, and these will fit the vast majority of my customers.
But don’t be put off if you have a slim build, a quick trick I have learned is to pin them at the back to get the perfect fit you want. This will not be seen in any of your images.
What Color Maternity Dresses do I Have?
I have a whole lot of different colors in my wardrobe. Ranging from black and white, with a little of everything in between. Black or really dark gowns can look great, but if I'm photographing you wearing one of these the dark colors it can hide the contour of the baby bump. So this may be something for you to consider when deciding which maternity dresses to wear for your photoshoot.
What Style of Dress should you consider for your photoshoot?
I have always found that seeing a gown worn by a pregnant woman gives my clients a much clearer expectation of how it will look on them than seeing it on a hanger. Do I have See-Through Maternity Dresses?

Another option if you like the look of the see-through dresses but want to maintain your modesty is to wear a slip underneath. I have these available in my wardrobe.
Do I Have Maternity Dresses with Sleeves?
Weight gain is a common part of pregnancy, and this can make you a little self-conscious. I have a good selection of dresses with sleeves as part of my wardrobe. This style of maternity gown can make you feel more comfortable if you have gained a little weight.
What Type Of Underwear Should You Wear?
The best kind of bra you can wear during your maternity photoshoot is a strapless bra. The other option is to tuck your bra straps down so that they are not visible in the photos. The problem with this is they can leave marks in your skin which can show up in your images.
As for panties, bring multiple different pairs, ideally sticking to black, white, and skin tones. I do have some disposable panties available if you forget.
Do I Clean My Maternity Dresses?
I will always wash my dresses after every use. When my dresses are all laundered and clean I hang them up. This keeps the wrinkles out of them, giving you a better final result in your photos.
